What to do with your garden lawn in a drought

The Brief:

The results of the long dry summer are showing on many gardens we visit at the moment. With a hosepipe ban looming there is little chance these gardens will recover. It is likely that when the rain does come the lawns will be ruined by weeds as they become more widespread in drought conditions.

This small, family back garden in Swanley, Kent is a typical summer garden ruined by poor grass. The owners opted for artificial grass to remedy the problem.

Our Work:

We stripped away the existing parched grass and top soil with our new heavy duty turf stripper. We put in our high end groundworks and laid the Outfield artificial grass.

Our work left a lovely green lawn that will require very little water to maintain and will look great all year round.
