This clay based garden in Edenbridge gets a makeover

The Work:

This clay based garden in Edenbridge, Kent really needed a makeover. It was muddy and retained water in winter and went rock hard in the summer, which isn’t ideal for children to play football on.

We removed the slight incline in the garden with sleepers and by building up the lower fence line. The area was packed out with 3 different sized aggregates from larger stone to dust, creating space for the water to sit whilst permeating the clay in wetter months. The grass fitted was the Knoll 30 recyclable.
