Replace concrete patio with artificial grass

The Brief:

The back garden at this house in up and coming Catford, South London needed updating.

The old grey patio made the area look really dull and lifeless. The owner desperately needed to replace the concrete patio with artificial grass to bring some colour and life to the garden. Some nice planting was also required in the surrounding borders.

Our Work:

To save the customer some money we cleverly used the sub base /mortar bed from the old patio as part of our groundworks.

Timbers were fitted around the perimeter and Type 1 was added. The whole area was topped with an inch of granite dust. Finally the Outfield artificial grass was fitted.

Now that the concrete patio was replaced with artificial grass the garden was starting to look great. To complete the look the owner will make a few final adjustments; The patio will be raised to meet the grass level and some colorful plants will be added to the borders and to the living wall.
