The Brief:
The Perfect Grass team set off to sunny Southend on Sea in Essex. Unfortunately, there wasn’t any time for eating ice cream and strolling on the beach, there was work to be done!
A retired gentleman had decided that although he loved his garden and looking after it, the actual upkeep of the lawn was just becoming too much.
We often find this; keen gardeners realise that without the worry of the lawn it frees them up to tend to the other more enjoyable aspects of a garden.
The lawn here had a nice, unique shape which lent itself to clean lines so artificial grass would suit it well.
Our Work:
We removed the top soil and turf and built the foundations up with 8 tonnes of aggregates plus all the other high end groundworks.
Timber edges were set in concrete around the edge of the lawn. This timber was used to fix the grass to and prevent it from moving. Our Deluxe grass the Grange was chosen for its realistic looks.
