The Brief:
We were asked to help with the garden of this house in the up and coming area of Belvedere, London. It had recently had a fantastic looking timber decking put in. The only issue now was the area in between; it was well below the height of the decking and it made the garden look disjointed. Our job was to level the dip between the decking and complete the new design.
Our Work:
To level the dip between the two separate areas of decking we replaced the membrane and filled the area with over 5 tonnes of Type 1 aggregate. Timber fixings were concreted in place around the outside of the garden and a top layer of granite dust was compacted in. This layer was screeded off by hand to make it completely level and ready for the grass.
To complete the garden the Grange artificial grass was attached to the fixings.
