The Brief:
The owner of this house in Bearsted, Kent had decided that their two tier garden served little purpose. It was unsafe for the kids to run around on because of the sudden drop in elevation and it made the garden look small. Our task was to level the two areas by taking down the level of the higher area and increasing the level of the lower area. We would then install artificial grass on to the newly levelled surface. All sounds easy right!
Our Work:
The lower area was built up with 6 inches of Type 1 whilst the top level had 4 inches of top soil and grass removed before it was raised 2 inches with Type 1. The Outfield grass was fitted to complete the work.
The result was a larger looking back garden that the boys could safely play in.
