The brief:

Our brief was to brighten up the frontage for this popular Thai restaurant in Beckenham, London. The owner wanted to provide a place for customers to have a pleasant drink.

Our work:

The area was very uneven so we laid a 5mm foam underlay to take out the rough edges and to give a smoother finish.

The Outfield artificial grass was used in this installation because its short pile is best for heavy usage.  We made sure it was well stuck around the perimeter especially where customers would enter the area so customers would not trip.

We sanded heavily with kiln sand to hold it down and to make it more fire retardant in case of a stray cigarette.
