Laying artificial grass in Hertford

The Brief:

We were asked by this customer in Hertford, Hertfordshire to lay artificial grass in their back garden. The natural grass struggled to grow because the long, thin shape of the area didn’t allow much light to reach it. The football loving kids put pay to whatever grass did grow. A great fix for this irregular shaped garden with little light was artificial grass.

Our Work:

Because the garden had decking and high gravel boards bordering it we decided to build this garden up rather than down. To do this we compacted in 11 tonnes of aggregates. This provided a solid platform on which we could lay the grass.

The grass chosen for this garden was the Rectory as it would provide a good hard wearing surface for the kids to play on.
