Installing artificial grass around a swimming pool in Sidcup

The Brief:

We were asked by the owners of this house in Sidcup, Kent to install artificial grass around their swimming pool. The pool area already had a temporary artificial lawn installed around it laid on 40 tonnes of sub base. Our brief was to bring the garden to life with a quality installation and a realistic artificial grass suitable for a swimming pool area.

Our Work:

We began this job by removing the old artificial grass. We then levelled the existing base before adding 30 tonnes of granite dust and concreting in the timber fixings. Finally we added a membrane to the top of the groundworks. Not our normal practice but we hadn’t installed the original groundworks. The Square grass was chosen by the owner for its bold stripes. As you can see from the end result the owner was presented with a beautiful space that could be enjoyed by the whole family.
