A great hot tub surround idea

The Brief:

There are many ideas out there for the immediate surrounds for hot tubs but there are not so many thoughts on the areas beyond this. This newly installed outside hot tub in Bexleyheath, London was set in a lovely decking surround. The only way to access it though was via a short walk from the house across a small grassed area.

This created the problem of have lots of muddy and grassy feet being bought in to the hot tub. With young children who keep getting in and out and running around it isn’t long before the hot tub needs cleaning out. The best solution is to replace the real grass with artificial grass.

Our Work:

We removed the real grass and top soil and replaced it with our groundworks and the Grange artificial grass. This completely removed this issue of a muddy hot tub and also created a nice green gap between the house and rear deck. A great hot tub surround idea!
