The Brief:
We were asked to fit artificial grass in Selsdon, Surrey for an elderly couple who were finding it a bit of a struggle to get the mower through the house everytime they wanted to mow the front lawn.
Because of this the garden was looking messy and it was beginning to spoil the appearance of their lovely house. The best option for this couple was to have a low maintenance artificial grass front garden.
Our Work:
To keep the natural looking shape of the lawn we concreted in timbers around the perimiter of the garden. These timbers would be used to attach the grass to. 1 tonne of Type 1 aggregates were placed below the grass to allow the grass to drain well and to provide a solid base so there will be no wave like movement in the coming years or months.
The couple were truly over the moon with the result!
