The Brief:
With todays modern living requiring large multi functioning rooms how about this as an idea from a recent project in Sidcup, Kent.
The large bi folding doors of this house lead directly onto a deck and then straight on to artificial grass without any change in level. This creates a large indoor / outdoor room.
Simply slide the doors fully open and use part or the whole of the big space. There is no problem with mud and mess because the artificial grass is installed.
Our Work:
To create this space 16 tonnes of aggregates were compacted in under the artificial grass to bring it to the same level as the decking and the doors. The aggregates also provide great drainage and will prevent the grass from moving over time.
The Heath artificial grass was fitted to complete the job. We think this large indoor outdoor room will be seeing plenty of use from this family.
