Creating an artificial grass garden in Sidcup

The Brief:

The front garden on this property in Sidcup, Kent had just had a new driveway and path laid.

The old grass that surrounded the newly installed driveway was now looking rather tired and out of sync with the rest of the area. What was needed to complete the front garden was a beautiful artificial grass garden lawn. To retain some colour and to keep the area looking as natural as possible the owners asked us to retain their exisiting plants and border area. With the brief set we got to work.

Our Work:

We set to work by stripping out  2 cubic yards of old grass and top soil from the 4 different areas we were to work on. Timber fixings were installed around each area to show us our correct levels and to provide fixings for the artificial grass.

A membrane was fitted to prevent weeds growing through the artificial grass garden lawn. Type 1 was used to fill the areas to the correct levels before a top layer of granite dust was added.

The owners chose the Boundary artificial grass for its softness and realistic looks.
