The Brief:
This existing patio in Sidcup was being completely redesigned. As part of the redesign the customer wanted the centrepiece to be artificial grass.
Our Work:
We didn’t need to remove all the slabs as they would create a nice solid platform for the grass to sit on. We did remove a few though which we packed with Type 1. This would allow the area to drain. The Type 1 would also give the granite dust a surface to grip to and prevent it all washing through in wet weather.
The grass fitted was the Grange which was stuck to a concrete haunch all around the perimeter.
