The Work:
This front garden lawn in Orpington, Kent was difficult to maintain. Not only was it subject to our changing climate of wet and dry weather but it was situated on a steep bank.
The trick on this install was to get the timber fixings just right. The verge area had to be separated as part of the estate agreement so we staged timbers fixings either side of the line.
We concreted timber fixings in place around the perimeter from which we were able to hang the grass. The bank was compacted by hand to create the smooth shape of the slope. The Meadow grass was heavily sanded down into the bank to pin it to the base. The tree stump was left to have a new house sign attached to it!
