Not with a Perfect Grass installation. By putting down professional groundworks which include compaction of Type 1 MOT and granite dust, we eliminate the movement associated with traditional soil or sand-based installs.

We kill any existing weeds before installation and we use a weed membrane beneath our granite base. While stray weeds might occasionally blow into the grass on top it is unlikely any will grow through the groundworks.

We use a variety of bespoke edging techniques—from pressure-treated timber, railway sleepers to concrete haunching—depending on your garden’s layout, ensuring the grass is securely fixed and won’t lift.

We complete the majority of residential lawns installations within 1 week. We will be able to give you a definitive timing once we know the full details of your particular project.

Unlike many other contractors we can cut the artificial grass to suit the desired shape of your lawn. It has taken our professional installers years of practice to hone their skills.

Yes, provided there is adequate drainage. We assess the sub-surface during our site survey and use specific underlays or drainage holes to ensure water doesn’t pool.

Solid waste is easily picked up as you would on a normal lawn. For urine, our grass and granite dust groundworks handle the drainage. A simple rinse with water once a month keeps it fresh.

All our products are UV-stabilized to the highest European standards, ensuring the colour remains a lush, natural green for the entire life of the lawn.

Like any surface exposed to direct sunlight, it can get warm. However, our modern fibers are designed to dissipate heat, and a quick sprinkle with a hose will cool the surface instantly on very hot days.

We recommend a leaf blower or a stiff brush once a month to remove organic debris and keep the fibers standing upright. No mowing, feeding, or weeding required.

Yes but we would however recommend placing the BBQ on stone slabs to avoid scolding of the grass.

The artificial grass will be delivered in rolls that measure 4 metres or 2 metres in width.
